DRY FOG HUMIDIFICATION SYSTEM

AKiMist® is an industrial humidification system that builds an optimal humidity environment according to different needs and conditions. AKIMist® produces ultra fine Dry Fog with a silky touch (Sauter Mean Droplet diameter measured by a laser analyzer: 7.5 microns). Solving the troubles caused by electrostatic, the system drastically improves productivity by control humidity in big space or control humidity on spot. No steam by boilers required. Energy saving in over 80% expected.

Dry Fog condition: Maximum droplet diameter 50 microns or less and mean droplet diameter 10 microns or less.

AKIMist® produces ultra fine Dry Fog with a silky touch.
Sauter Mean Droplet diameter measured by a laser analyzer: 7.5 microns
Spray volume per each nozzle: 2.4 L/hr at Air Pressure 0.3 MPa (3 bar)
Up to 4 pieces of the nozzle mountable to a humidifier : Total 9.6 L/hr

Dry Fog condition: Maximum droplet diameter 50 microns or less and mean droplet diameter 10 microns or less.

WHY DOESN'T DRY FOG WET THE OBJECT?


As shown below, small droplets rebound from an object, but large droplets burst and wet the object, just like soap bubbles.



The following are pictures of droplets collected using Immersion Sampling and droplet diameter is distribution measured using the laser analyzer.
AKIJet® nozzle produces Dry Fog with a maximum droplet diameter of 50 microns or less and Sauter Mean Droplet diameter of 5.9 microns.
